Laboratory course providing experience in the design and fabrication of a digital computer. Course includes the specifation of a computer system and the fabrication of a multichip random access memory, an arithmetic and logic unit and associated registers, input/output circuitry, and a control unit. The above entries are then combined to form a simple computer. Medium-scale intergated circuitry is used.
